  2. A family friend referred to lovingly as ‘aunt’ painted me a little fox before she died, it’s one of my favourite possessions. These remind me of that šŸ™‚

  3. I will book their flight after they attend their halloween party here!! I will put a tag on each critter with their names on them. The foxes haven’t got names yet but they will soon. šŸ˜€

  4. Oh my goodness! What a wonderful idea! You remembered that I wanted to do something in Australia for New Year’s! Even better to have visitors from Australia at the party this year!!! I haven’t started planning it yet, but I think your idea is perfect. Let’s do it! I’ll get Hodge and Podge working on the invitations, and in the meantime feel free to book the “flight.” Do the foxes have names? This is so exciting. Thanks again for the great idea!

  7. Absolutely right. Selling patterns is so much easier, and I will be doing just that very soon šŸ™‚ (I am testing it now) Oh yes, the slicker brushing does give fantastic results. I have tried it earlier on some of my amis.., I think with Dumbledore’s hair in the Harry Potter series I did last year. Your foxes have turned out wonderful šŸ™‚ The features are just perfect.

  8. HeeHee! Pattern selling on ravelry is much easyer on the heart strings!
ps. I experimented with a “slicker” or pet brush on the tail and was very pleased with the result. As a fellow amigurumist you will understand. ā¤

  9. I love their expressions. Especially the one looking up to you šŸ˜‰ I have no heart to sell a single critter I made and so closed my etsy shop LOL šŸ˜€

  10. Thanks Jennifer. I don’t have a lot of critters because they sell pretty quickly but the “special” ones are very organised. Last night they formed a collective and this morning presented me with this proposal. They would like me to buy them return tickets to the USA for the Fatimal’s new year’s eve party. They promised they would be good and both Croc and the foxes promised on Australian honor not to eat any one. I said “crikey! Jennifer hasn’t even formally invited you yet. I will run it by her” šŸ˜€

  13. ah yes and I agree whole hardheartedly. Like most of the wild critters, they are best enjoyed at a safe distance. Stay far away where it is safe Sammy. Except for mine of course because mine are friendly. XX

  14. How absolutely TOTALLY adorable! No wonder you don’t want to part with them……we are in red fox country here in the Virginia countryside and see them QUITE often coming through our yard…..they are so beautiful but we’re VERY glad our Sammy is INSIDE and not OUTSIDE!

    Hugs, Pam (and Sam)

  15. Oh Sharon – these are just gorgeous! You are very talented you know! I too think you should keep the prototypes – in the sure belief that future foxes will be just as handsome!

  16. I LOVE that song! Your Mom is clever and I wish I thought of that as as a tag line. I will use it at the markets. I will keep them from you though Easy. You would educate them too “thoroughly” šŸ˜€

  17. These are absolutely adorable…I want one!!!! Beautiful;y made too. Red foxes are my favourite ever since I was a child. My very first published short story was based on the walks in the woods my dad used to take me and my brother on and he always told us a story about a mysterious red fox. So you can see how much I love these beauties šŸ™‚
