Bashful’s Melbourne Adventures.

I have a pet rock from Georgia, America visiting me. This little rock has had many adventures all over the world and you can read about them here. He belongs to a little piggie called Bacon.   Bashful riding at Federation square
Here he is after a strenuous bicycle ride into town with a stop to see the Melbourne visitor Center next to Federation Square.

  1. Oh my, what adventure for Bashful! I fell in love with Lilly-Pilli’s Sister book!!!
First thing tomorrow morning going to look for one on the net. 🙂
    Hugs to you and Bashful!

  2. Love, love, love this! I have really enjoyed reading about this rock’s adventure! I was even looking for him in that last photo for a long time. Perhaps it’s best that you didn’t cover him in jam… that would’ve been one sticky rock. 🙂

  3. Glad to hear that Bashful is having fun with you and relieved that he hasn’t been up to no good! The chances of spilled jam were worrying us 😉

  4. I imagine! I do hope he is behaving and not giving you too much trouble. We all know he can be quite the little handful at times 🙂 XOXO – Bacon

  5. He’s having quie an adventure. That seat looks just a bit too high….. 🙂

  6. Reblogged this on Pig Love and commented:

  8. More excellent uplifting and encouraging news from gentlestitches! I am extremely glad we found each other 🙂

I am pleased to hear you have connected with the Do It Now verse. I first met it in 1984 and it has had a profound impact on my life ever since.
This version is written from memory as I have misplaced my original copy.

  9. Thanks Pauline, I am so glad you have had the chance to visit our lovely Melbourne Town! (((hugs))). You will not believe where we are taking Bashful next.
I am enthralled with that Goethe quote from your book. I have actually noticed it’s truth but never seen it documented until you posted it. So glad we “met”. I am taking my “cup half full” card with me on my upcoming trip.

  10. He is a fun guy and loves to be a party rock. (you will have to lay down with surprise when you hear where we plan to take him next) Fair Dinkum!!

  11. Looks like Bashfull is having the time of his life…eh sure ‘rocks’ the world doesn’t he???

    Sherri-Ellen & Nylablue 🙂 🙂

  12. Lucky Bashful! The first shots reminded me of some of the beautiful places I visited during my [only] visit to Melbourne a few years ago. I loved the place! 🙂 And you have your own fairy tale – that is so good too. I must keep an eye out for it, I am a big fan of us localising northern hemisphere traditions 🙂 And finally you top it all off with something from the divine Miss PJ Sassifras herself – Way to go Gentlestitches!!

I’m glad I was back home with time to comment for this post – most enjoyable!
Have a good week Bashful and Sharon xoxo
