Not a creature was stirring……

My little Christmas mice are multiplying. I am using the amigurumi crochet pattern designed by Janette from the Green Dragonfly. This “mousie” pattern can be found here and don’t forget to add a Christmas hat to really Chritmasfy your mouse! Green Dragonfly’s tiny Christmas hat here and Anna Branford’s “how to knit a tiny gnome hat” here.
If you are looking for a craft book for children in your life I highly recommend how to make small things with Violet Mackerel”. This is a fabulous book written for children and uses tried and tested patterns with materials found around the house.  It is a magical book, guaranteed to bring out any budding crafter!  I got a few ideas from it myself.

  1. Oh thank you. I am pleased with the noses and they are all a tiny shade different. 3 of them are going to my friends 4 year old TRIPLETS!!! So they have to be all a little different. 🙂

  2. Thank you! Wine, cheese and baguettes, does it get any better than that? Of course all served with good friends, doggies DEFINITELY invited! 🙂

  3. Oh thanks for noticing my cheese plate. I love it too and it has been in our family forever. The reason I still have it is because it lives “way up high” away from the live stock! (I of course include children in this category) 🙂 ps I also have a thing for butter and cheese plates. 🙂
