Ravelry debut.

Meet Weaver the aussiegurumi koala. Her pattern and patterns for other members of her family will be on my Ravelry page and my free amigurumi patterns page very soon. I have called her Weaver after The Sweaty Knitter, Weaver and Devotee of Other Fiber Arts . I got a lot of very helpful and interesting information about pattern reading and writing here but that’s not all! Check out the Yarn Pro 1.0 for iPhone app! No fiber artist would want to be without it. My friend Jennette from The Green Dragonfly also helped me sort out my WordPress free pattern page but if you are interested in free crochet patterns (seriously, who wouldn’t be) check out The Green Dragonfly pattern page hereWeaver

Wow! That was a lot of work. Hopefully I can now get back to writing and road testing patterns. Is anyone else on Ravelry? Introduce yourself so I can visit!

  1. The good news gets even better! Weaver’s pattern is free as a shop opening gift and mascot of my patterns! I am having some patterns for sale and others as gifts!
I will let you know when Weaver (and her daughter) are available. ( Next week) Also although ami patterns can be made with any yarn, after much study including your posts, I decided to specify a yarn for those new to the craft. 🙂

  2. Thank you for your kind comments! I am very flattered (and pleased you find YarnPro handy too)! And the Koala is adorable! I will buy the pattern as a gift for a crocheting friend of mine!

  3. Weaver the koala looks super cute. Thanks for linking to the green dragonfly! I am on ravelry as Janette17… Have a great rest of your weekend 🙂
