Wool Room Award Time.

Live from The Wool Room, the gentlestitches Awards!

First is the Dragon’s Loyalty Award. Bestowed upon me by the awesome, talented and witty Evil Squirrel’s Nest and equally talented and very amusing Spineless Wonders.

7 Random facts about me.

1. I love music especially live music and I love the way it transcends all barriers  because we all read notes in the same language.

2. I love reading books and it fascinates me that from the first stories ever told, humans were grappling with the same problems we find ourselves with today.

3.I love cake and all things sweet and wonder why foods that are so good for me couldn’t have made a bigger effort to taste better.

4. I live in a converted miners cottage with a spiral staircase that leads to my own little quarters and overlooks my much loved garden.

5 I would like to visit King Ashurbanipal’s library when it is opened for visitors.

6. I have been blessed with the most wonderful friends in the world and friends to me are the true meaning of happiness.

7. I would love to take my 12-year-old dear son to Japan one day.

  1. Must admit it isn’t such “invading” cold as Victoria, but it gets down in the minus degrees occasionally – foggy, damp and miserable.

  2. Your welcome. Isn’t she wonderful ?. Now you like a giggle. Have you seen the you tube video “two Scotts in a lift?” I watched it more than once and it never seems to get old. 🙂

  3. I love that you laugh at stuff that’s funny! Thank you so much for nominating me and congratulations for all your well deserved awards!!!

  4. Fantastic – I love everything about this post! Love your 7 reasons and thanks for introducing me to this fabby pianist! Wow! 🙂 Congrats!

  5. how wonderful you are such a wonderful person who well deserves all awards, Fran Seville

  6. Geoff and I want to say thank you for the cute little Easter Bunny and handmade card. Geoff is now home from Hospital and enjoying sleeping in his own bed again. It is rapidly turning into “doona weather” here. Did you know that Gympie actually has very heavy frosts in winter? So much for a hot climate, hey?

  7. Thank you very much and congratulations! The Very Inspiring Blogger award is probably one of my favourites, it makes me feel really… satisfied or something with my blog, so thank you 🙂

  8. No worries and thanks for introducing a “nervous to try different food type person” to your excellent recipes. I quite like middle eastern food and I am happy to report my nut shop does indeed have Aleppo red pepper flakes and I am buying some tomorow. 🙂

  9. Good morning Gentlestitches, thank you ever so much for nominating me. Two days in a row now you have filled my morning with sunshine and smiles 🙂

  10. It’s going to be a wonderful day – first a double rainbow on the way to campus, then this post from you! Thank you, you are very generous to think of me and my humble blog. And the Dragon’s Loyalty Award, no less – that’s a first for me. 🙂 🙂 🙂
