Woolly awards.

Some more awards from my Wool Room.

First is the Blogging without obligation award.    If you want to be intrigued check out this link. It is available for anyone to add to their blog without nomination but I have decided to personally deliver it to these recipients with the clear understanding that they don’t have to display it and the best part is there are no “rules” or obligations attached with it.

Winter Owls

The next award it the Illuminating blogger award which was kindly given to me by mittenskittens and I just love it.  I love the concept of a small light, joining other lights, making a lot of light.  I have only one problem. How on earth can I only choose 5 blogs? Well here goes.

first a little something about me.light bulb concept I am a knitter, crocheter, sewist, writer, reader,  and lover of all critters. I adore libraries and have memberships with 5 of them.  I have a made up condition called ATTD which means “attention to tiny detail” This means I am at risk of not noticing I am in the path of a run away steam train because I am fascinated by a pattern on a tree leaf that has caught my attention.

The five blogs.

Cobwebs, Cupcakes & Crayons .  I love our collectively creative posts and thank you for your work putting it all together. It really is a most enjoyable thing to do.

Pillows A-La-Mode Your posts always light up my day. You have the best ideas on the net (or off the net)

ziggyshortcrust  If anyone can bring a little light into the night, it is you.

dogfordavid  I enjoy your writing and appreciate the work you put in

Spineless Wonders  You make me laugh and I am “addicted”to Cyril and Willy updates.

Evil Squirrel’s Nest. You have  amusing an insightful comments on a variety of issues plus I love the pics and ‘toons.

The Pensive Squirrel l You remind us all that life really is best lived “a day at a time” and that joy is everywhere.

So enjoy your awards and I will be back for an update on the latest Melbourne yarn bombing at our very own city square.

  1. Oh thank you for thinking of me! I really appreciate it! I also love that you have ATTD! It’s a great thing to have (except in the case of being in the path of a run away steam train).

  2. I think you are so impressive with all of the accolades that you are being awarded with! Nice work! Thank you for thinking of us! 🙂

  3. No problem. They are really good awards and I especially like the idea of blogging when one can because it isn’t possible to blog when one can’t ??? 🙂

  4. Thanks Gentle Stitches 🙂 I have to tell you that your encouragement and comments keeps me going a lot. : ) Thank-you for that ((hugs)) : )
